Section 1:
Board of Trustees
A): A board of trustees shall manage the BLWA.
B): The board shall be known as the executive board and shall establish the policies of the club. They shall oversee, implement, and execute the policies and guidelines set forth by the club.
Section 2:
Executive board
A): The executive board shall consist of the President, Vice President, and Executive Secretary.
B): The regular members of the club shall elect the executive board for a term of two (2) years. There shall be no limit to the number of terms they may serve.
C): All executive board members must attend as many BLWA functions as possible, Host one function, and attend one executive meeting every year.
D): Each executive member shall have one vote, and may only hold one (1) executive position at a time.
E): All members of the executive board shall be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Section 3:
Conflicts:
No officer may participate in, or attempt to influence any decision by the club affecting his/her own personal business interests, or otherwise use his/her official position for personal gain. No officers may hold an elected position in another off-road club. All elected officials are representing the membership and if not performing their duty satisfactorily may be relieved of duty by a majority vote called by the founding committee. All elected officials sole purpose is to do what is best for the BLWA and shall do everything in their power to make it grow and spread knowledge about our sport.
